  • Queer, feminist and postcolonial perspectives in/on Political Theory and International Relations (IR)

Since 2011: Habilitation project “Queer G(r)ifts. Development politics, LGBTIQ rights and the trajectories of transnational solidarities“

2013 to 2015: Pilot study „Queer in Vienna. The living situation of LGBTIs in Vienna“; in cooperation with and financed by the Viennese Anti-discrimination Unit for Lesbian, Gay and Transgender Issues (jointly with Karin Schönpflug, Roswitha Hofmann, Alexander Schnabel, Clemens Huber)

2011 to 2012: Transdisciplinary research project „The LGB Data Project for the EU. A compilation of statistical data on sexual orientation and an application to research on the economic status of LGBs“; financed by the Austrian National Bank (OeNB) (jointly with Karin Schönpflug, Roswitha Hofmann, Sandra Müllbacher, Wolfgang Schwarzbauer)

2006 to 2011: Doctoral research project on heteronormativity, citizenship and lesbian existences; financed by the University of Innsbruck, the „Austrian Gay Professionals” (agpro) and the „Johanna-Dohnal Archiv”

2005 to 2006: Transdisciplinary research project “Bertha von Suttner Revisited”; financed by the Austrian National Bank (OeNB) (jointly with Laurie Cohen and Erna Appelt)
